On May 9th, 2011, the Graphic Design concentration at University College of Bahrain invited an external jury for examining the Graphic Design students’ final projects. The jurists were Mr. Francois Bourgoin, Managing & Creative Director DDB, Mr. Vahid Mehrinfar the Executive Principal of Vahid Associates, Ms. Patricia Saghbini, Managing and Creative Director Beedesign, and Mr. Andrew Durkan the Creative Director of Fortune Promoseven.

The event was a huge success with the presence of a lot of student, their parents, faculty, professional graphic designers and aspiring artist. The projects that the jury judged were pretty remarkable, Sara Sami, redesigned the identity of Bahrain National Museum while Dina Jamal, redesigned the corporate image of Beit Al Qura'an and Norah Al Baadi chose Al Tuwajiri Dates.

To spread awareness about Cerebral Palsy, Zeina Joueidi did a great 'Special Me' campaign, while Noora Al Kaabi showed her passion for the environment through her 'recycling for Charity' and Zahraa Alshaiba defiantly impressed with her 'Be in the Moment' awareness campaign. The six final year student showcased their projects in front of the jury, replied to their inquiries and listened to their feedback.
