Wednesday 9th of May 2012, under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the President of University College of Bahrain, the 7th Annual Graphic Design Exhibition was inaugurated at Janabiya Hall in the university campus. German Ambassador to Bahrain Ms. Sabine Taufmann was the chief guest of the event.

In this exhibition of contemporary graphic design, fourteen unique projects unraveled the creative process of the era of 21st century. Graduates displayed their final year projects including the photographs of Germany trip. The exhibition featured on re-designing the visual identity of UCB and other companies as well as large-scale super graphic and billboard design. The exhibition was a sweeping look at graphic design in action. Designers in the spotlight were graduates and Alumni from the graphic design department.

The exhibition was attended by the University students including their parents, professionals in the field and aspiring artists. The event was covered by the English and Arabic Print media. The brilliant work executed by the students was a success. The evening wrapped up with plenty of admiration and appreciation contributed largely by visitors.
